North Hants are delighted to announce we will along with Hankley Common be hosting the English Men's Amateur Championship in 2019.
Lounge Refurbishment Imagery
On behalf of Crawford, Kate, Peter and Alan
Following on from the communication around the members evening on the 22nd of September, the imagery of the plans is displayed as intimated.
Image 1 shows the redesigned lounge space showing the new bar position and how this opens up the space creating a far better flow and accessibility to all areas of the clubhouse. The option to separate the areas for private functions has been retained.
Image 2 depicts the view of the lounge area from the far right of the area adjacent to the wall clock. The images of the furniture are indicative of the layout but not necessarily the style of the chairs or tables. We anticipate these being mostly lower level tables but which can also be used for dining occasions. These will be a mix of new and recovered / refurbished existing pieces but absolutely maintaining the quality of the chairs we currently utilise.
Image 3 shows views from the rear left of the lounge with the trophy cabinet behind you. We plan to utilise the two bay windows nearest the dining room to create cosy and comfortable seating areas with fantastic views over the course. There is no requirement to maintain these as fire exits
Image 4 is a view of the new bar from the sliding doors. The bar is built length ways along the wall allowing for far better use of the space that we have. It is difficult to portray the details of the bar but there will be mirrors, and enhancing lights to the rear bar, pendants light above and the installation of a barista coffee machine. Again, the furniture shown is indicative though we do intend introducing a couple of higher table and stools across from the bar.
Image 5 shows the proposed furniture layout, the styles of chairs and sofa we are considering and an indication of the colour of fabrics that we form the palette from which the final determination will come
Actual fabric samples will be available at the meeting are part of a range that we intend utilising in a less uniformed manner to the one we currently have. These are hard wearing but extremely good quality and we believe that this will bring a fresh and more contemporary feel to the clubhouse.
We do hope that you will be able to attend the meeting on Friday but would ask that any questions are emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org
in advance so that we can provide the answers for you. This also enables members who are unable to make Friday to also pose their questions.
