North Hants to host English Men's Amateur Championship

North Hants are delighted to announce we will along with Hankley Common be hosting the English Men's Amateur Championship in 2019.

Hampshire Rose

North Hants became more widely know in the ladies golfing circuit when The Hampshire Rose was started in 1973. The list of winners has included many of the finest names in amateur golf and many internationals for example Charley Hull and Georgia Hall


The inagural event was won by Miss C Redford with a score of 146. Later winners have included the late Angela Uzielli who won the trophy 3 times between 1985 - 1993. Angela's record speaks volumes, British Champion 1977, Curtis Cup 1978, English Champion 1990, British Senior Champion six times from 1990.


The record score for the two rounds of the Hampshire Rose stands at 135 set by Miss A MacDonald in 1989 and equaled by Miss C Aitken in 2006.
